Who is responsible

LivestockSouk B.V. (KvK 90621638), Polderpeil 25, 2382 BW Zoeterwoude, Netherlands, is the controller of the personal data processed through this website.

For any question about your data, write to info@livestocksouk.com.

Information you submit

Through the enquiry forms you provide your name, email address and telephone number and, if you choose, an organisation name and whether we may contact you on WhatsApp. You also describe your buying project or supply, for example the type and number of animals, countries, timing, budget and practical arrangements. We also record the language of the form and the version of this notice that you acknowledged.

Please do not submit bank details, identity documents, animal passports, health documents or confidential contracts.

Why we use it and on what legal basis

We use your enquiry to reply to you and to discuss your buying project or the supply you offer. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a possible contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

We process limited technical data to protect the forms against abuse, spam and automated submissions. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising. We do not pass your details to a buyer or supplier without first discussing it with you.

Service providers

We use the following providers, which process data on our behalf under data processing terms:

Vercel: hosting of this website.

Resend: delivery of your enquiry by email to our inbox.

Upstash: short-lived rate-limit and duplicate-protection records.

Cloudflare Turnstile: bot check on the enquiry forms.

WhatsApp (Meta): conversations with you on WhatsApp, if you agree to this or write to us there.

Our email hosting provider: storage of your enquiry in our mailbox.

Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Some of these providers are based in the United States. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, the transfer relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Cookies

After a successful submission, the site sets one functional cookie (cs_confirmation) for five minutes so that the confirmation page can be shown. It contains no personal data.

We use no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The bot check on the enquiry pages processes technical data from your browser to tell people from automated programs.

Technical logs

When you visit the site, our hosting provider and Cloudflare process technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the pages and protect the service. These logs are kept for a limited period set by the provider.

How long we keep your data

Enquiries that do not lead to further work, and any WhatsApp conversations about them, are deleted within 90 days.

If an enquiry leads to further work, we keep it for as long as that work requires and for as long as the law requires us to keep business records.

Rate-limit and duplicate-protection records contain a keyed code, not your email address, and expire automatically within 24 hours.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive your data in a portable format. To exercise these rights, write to info@livestocksouk.com. We reply within one month.

You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or with the supervisory authority in your country.

We do not take decisions about you based solely on automated processing.

Changes to this notice

We update this notice when our processing changes. The version and review date are shown at the top of this page.
